• The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy and the City of Rancho Palos Verdes succeeded in purchasing and preserving 463 acres of open space in Portuguese Bend.
  
  
• This triggered the creation of a Preserve that will cover 1200 acres and include more than 20 miles of public trails.
  
  
• A second transaction would complete the Preserve, but at this time the City and the PVPLC do not have a purchase agreement with that property owner. We are working toward negotiating an agreement.
  
  
• Now we must care for the land we preserved. Join us and become a member of the Legacy Circle or Mariposa Circle. Donations at every level are appreciated.
